Hello,
I am very curious to no how important it is to run HD lockers in my rigs?

I run 4s on a 35T holmes and the 4 year old kit lockers with zero issues. To me the HD lockers are not necessary.

With that setup and 4 years, enough said

The Holmes motor is new but I've been running 35t and 4s for years. Usually a pair of 5700mAh 50c 2s packs. Recently switched to 4s life. Little less voltage but plenty insanity.

Wheelies on demand with a crawler might be overkill.

Depends on how/where you drive and the power plant.
In my experience and from what I have witnessed, brushless on 3s and a heavy throttle will destroy stock lockers.

I am running brushed 2s lipo, HH torque master pro 35T in 1 scx10, and rc4wd 35t boost motors in the other 2. I have HD gears, Junfac drivelines, and trannys gears in the 3 rigs. My buddy said they were a must, but he is no smarter than I am

I recommend running the stock lockers until you see a problem with one or more. You really won't know if you need to upgrade until you destroy one, could take a couple of months or a few years. Just depends on how and where you drive and how much power you put to them.

Unless you start breaking them they are not necessary. I usually just do it so I don't have to worry about it and to remove some slop. (Stock lockers get sloppy over time)
