|  Wrecked my frame
Hey all, took a great tumble today, ended up bending the frame super bad, ripped in a few places. I am looking at a few different frames, anyone have experience with the vendors offerings?

| Re: Wrecked my frame   So yeah broke the VP link, not the rod end, frame twisted and bent, ripped the steel on the top side. Blew out one rear and one front shock |

That sucks, that is some serious height and tumble. I would check out The Scale Shop SCXHR high clearance chassis, looks pretty sweet to me. If the other half of the scx10 chassis is straight, I would cut it in half and hold on to it. That would make for a sweet 6x6 future build? Just saying LOL....

Both sides are pretty much toast. I'm wondering if I could run trailing arms on wither of these chassis. It looks like wraith ta will be 3mm short with ends. I know there could be issues with shock angles

ive built 2 of the TSS scxhr frames and I just orderd another one, they are super tuff....if you don't want it to ever bend,weld cross members on both ends of the frame at the bumpers... hands down best chassis rails for the scx10 made. |

+1 on the TSS frame. I got one for a scratch build and love it. Also consider getting the delrin skid while you're at it. The frame allows more uptravel in the front and has higher upper link mounts than stock. Very good product.
