Default Vanquish motor mount/ gear guard

Hello,
I want to get one of these for my Honcho, and G6 kit. Looks like it wont work with my G6 kit, this is off their website. Why wouldn't this work with the G6 kit it has the same 48p gearing?
Thanks

Fits stock Axial AX-10, Axial SCX-10, Axial Honcho and Ready to Run kits
Provides protection for electronic wiring, rocks and debris
Motor plate has additional 4th mounting hole location for improved motor plate support to help reduce torque twisting alignment
Comes with all hardware shown
Will not work with SCX Deadbolt and SCX G6
Fits AX-10, SCX and Honcho
Replaces AX80078

Billj, How slammed is the body? I cut the rear shock hoop body down and run the front one hole from all the way in. I even heated the center console of the body to clear the uncovered spur gear. Just curious how low yours is that it clears the VP cover.

It's not because of the body. It must be because of the dual slipper clutch? Or am I wrong?
