Being that the truck is so light it slides much easier over the rocks and doesn't have as much force on the chassis and the carbon slides better than anything I have ran so far.

What's your final weight?
Looks good by the way. I think that the links may be a weak point. Carbon fiber uppers didn't last long in my comp rig.

Haven't got my final weight still waiting on new holmes stubby motor and crushed esc, the links have a sideways breaking point of 80lbs, I don't think they will break easy. I am hoping to come in under 6lbs.

I actually have 2 new ones in the packages still, going to paint a new one soon. since this body is almost destroyed, I ran it on my old 1.9. I built this chassis around this body.

More info on how you made your links and what they weight - if you don't mind.
And FYI - your collars for the rcbro tubes are on backwards. Smaller (less OD) should face in.

links are made from carbon fiber tubing, not much different weight than stock plastic links but slide way better and are much stronger. Colors are switched, those pics were of mock up.

Just weighed the truck today after changing trans case and installing hot racing hardened aluminum gears. Truck is at 4lbs 6.6oz with battery, once new holmes 2200 stubby and crushed esc is installed I'll weigh again. so far links and chassis are holding up great on rocks.
