|  Carbon Fiber Motor Plate for the AX/SCX10 Transmission
This is a carbon fiber motor plate for the AX10 and SCX10 transmission. The plate is 2.5mm thick cf and weighs 4g. Also available as a slightly stiffer version with only the necessary slots cut out. It was brought to my attention that a few customers who have purchased the motorplate are concerned about the stiffness of the motorplate. Prior to shipping these out I did test the plate by jamming the wheels of my truck and then applying throttle. So far not once have the gears slipped. I am using a 35t Holmes motor, the stock 87t spur and a 14t pinion on a 400mAh 3S battery. I re checked after hearing the concerns and again found that the plate would not flex in a noticable way during use. I can make it flex by twisting the motor by hand. But I believe this generates more leverage on the plate than the forces generated between the spur and pinion do. Here is a video where I try to show you how I tested. I first apply throttle slowly till the motor stalls. I then do a few fast full throttle pulls which also result in a stalling motor but no gear skipping. I also did look for flex in the plate while I slowly applied throttle but I could not spot it with my bare eyes. Based on my findings so far I feel confident the motor plate will be good for 2.2s Class competition use. Tomy, great product. No gripes except in the 1st post you should add that you will need longer hardware to bolt the plate on. No big deal just might save a future headache.

About my previous comment, ive noticed that everyones running the screws from spurside back, mine are ran from back to sourside and my motor plate is threaded, that could be myl ength issue. Once again, great product. We just need some AR60 battery/ servo and 4link plates.
