I try to position my shock as much vertical as possible. The placement really depends on wheelbase and ride height. If my wheelbase doesn't allow for a nice low stance with vertical mounting I lay the shock back slightly. I like my rigs with a nice low stance and I think vertical mounted shocks work and look scale

no not a trick question. were constantly trying to evolve our products. was looking to expand our shock mount options by seeing if most are mounting more towards the inner holes or outer holes front and rear.

I prefer the hole that offers the truest vertical alignment.

So I use the forward most hole on the stock shock tower(s).

I'd probably move it another 2 mm forward...
if the stock shock tower had another hole.

I'd actually like to move it forward...
and upwards a few mm to lower the chassis a little as well.
So a bracket (plate) that offers both adjustment, would net my interests.

I could scratch build those plates...
But I'd likely not be very accurate in my process

I have the holes marked on the chassis that I used but it really depend on the hight of shock and wheel base
