|  need help on picking a transmission
so i am going to start a build on a jeep that i got and need a low profile set up i was thinking a center transfer case and a front mounted trans but who makes a kit and will i need a different skid plate? i was thinking about using a scx10 chassis the wheel base is right at 13 inches i think any suggestions would help alot as i have never built anything lol   |

I think you are looking for something like thisGCM Racing WebStore-2015 - SCX Mounts Combo Kit You can use the stock SCX10 skidplate w/ this.

The GCM set up is easy to install and solid. I love mine.... You'll like it. Or maybe a ToyZuki set up would keep the motor lower in the frame rails...

Watch that install video, it looked pretty easy to me. I've have no personal experience with that kit but would like to build a truck around it some day.
