When I did mine I started with the wraith skid but ended up using a scx10 skid with the wraith tranny and I thought it turned out better.

I made some braces out of delrin to strength everything. I made them wide enough so I can adjust them front to back for my post placement for any body I chose to use.

WB ended up 13 5/8 inches long
Ride height alittle over 8 inches when it's ready to hit the trail it would be nice to have it at 8 inches even.
Skid clearance when it's RTR should be around 3 inches.
RTR weight goal is 8 lbs.

Made a bracket for all the electronics, top fits nice and low.
Need to put a servo on the front
Make a bracket for the front and see if I like the stock front bumper

Your wroncho build is coming along quite nicely, are those the stock upper wraith links you're using with the stock scx10 skid? If so how is your pinion angle when used with the stock scx10 lower links? I may have to steal that set up from you when the time comes. Looking good man!

I am using the wraith skid with 3 sets scx 10 links. The upper rear links are wraith uppers. The pinion angle is great, since I lengthened the WB to 13 5/8 inches. The best part of using the wraith center section is you can mix and match with scx10/wraith links to get the WB you want.

Spent about an hour cutting up the front bumper to see if I could get it to fit with the servo during full compression. Cut the slide adjusters off and tapped them, then I relocated them to the light opening.

The BRXL wires were getting in the way with the top sitting low so I heated it up and bent it down at a 30degree angle it should work. Wiring is done, servo is in. ESC and receiver box are double taped in place, letting them sit for a few hrs and then it's time to hit the rocks.

Took it out for a evening crawl in the back yard. Crawls great, I might have over geared it 87/13. For now it good enough. I have super soft springs on the rear and it doesn't sit as low as I wanted. On the front I took the upper spring off and just cranked down the lock ring. It seems alittle stiff on the first run but it is really balanced.

I didn't like how the shocks were working so I moved the upper shock mount inward as much as possible. The rear springs were already super soft so the angle make them even softer.

Get some wraith axles and center section and convert your deadbolt to a wroncho. I am looking at doing that with my deadbolt.

Still not liking the shock set up.... I decided to switch the shocks front to back. Now the rear shocks are stiffer than the front. The back was squatting when I was side hilling. The cross braces I made from delrin will help fine tune things.

Shocks are working much better now. Running a 50/50 set up. Also tried the pits from my wraith. I like the all black look better. Also found my gearhead wheels were in bad shape after 3 yrs.
