Default Steering link for high clearance knuckles

I have been running the SSD titanium steering link setup on my Power Wagon for a while. Trying to get more steering I ordered the Axial high clearance knuckles and universals. The SSD tie rod is too short for this setup.

Will the Vanquish Currie steering link work? It says it will work with the Vanquish 8 degree knuckles and zero ackerman knuckles.

Blue monkey makes one...but i used the aluminum axial one..put a bend in the middle and added a spacer on each end...worked perfectly

If it uses the normal 4mm ends like a revo just grab some ends meant for a jato and trim to fit.

That was a thought but the ssd links use m3 SET SCREWS I'm not very patient and Blue Monkey claims a 7-10 day wait.

I went ahead and ordered the Vanquish stuff along with a CMS. The SSD stuff will get passed down to my backup rig so I guess I'm only out a few dollars more than I would have been if I had upgraded the stock junk on that one anyway.

Sounds like a new tie rod or longer [terminology nazi]set screws[/terminology nazi] and spacers are in your future.

That's the one I used and straightened it slightly to get toe out and hug it up tighter to the axle pumpkin.

Thanks, I ordered the Vanquish high steer drag link and tie rod. Should be here in a couple days. If it isnt right I should be able to tinker with it with different rod ends to get it to where I need it..
