New body for Jeep unlimited.

I'm looking for a new body and am not having much luck.

I live in Canada so my options are limited so I'm trying to think outside the box.

A guy at my lhs said most people are just putting 1/8 bodies on the scx10 and it fits perfect. He didn't have any in stock.

I can't find anything 1/8 specific on amazon but I can find specific vehicle bodies.

Is there another vehicle body that fits well? I found a revo 3.3 raotor that I really like but I have no idea what will fit well.

The best way to get an idea is with the dimensions of the bodies you are looking at, if available. Just try to find the wheelbase, overall length, width, etc. of the body you are looking at. That will at least give you an idea of the range you are looking for. You are going to be putting the body mount post holes in where you need so with a bit of research there are many options available that will fit.

Thanks, I think I'm going to order this one. The price is right and I love the look. I'm assuming that if this one fits all revo bodies will fit? Are there any other models that fit well?

For Proline bodies I always use the 2.5 TMaxx & Revo trucks. The Savage & Revo 3.3 are I believe 13+" long wheelbase.

Yes i see that what part....
You could always try Great Hobbies there from Canada i buy from them once in a while.....
If you try RPP hobby or Horizon hobby they both have reasonable price for shipping to Canada and If you go to ebay china charges cheap for shipping they have jeep TJ hard bodies for 60.00 free shipping....

And 0.60 thickness to.Almost hard body thickness...Gonna have to check more carefully at these 1/8 bodies instead of searching for crawler bodies...

It will fit if you lengthen your suspension links.Thats probably not what you want to do though.Are you looking for a paint & mount body?

I'm OK with painting one I'm just looking to change things up a bit. The problem is that here in Canada selections are limited. Amazon doesn't have any scx10 bodies so I am trying to find something else that will work.

That body has a 13.3" wheelbase.The Jeep unlimited is 12.3"wheelbase.As stated before you need the Revo 2.5 bodies to fit your stock wheelbase.Changing out links ain't that big of a deal but adds to the cost for a simple body change.
