| Panikku's Honcho build "Tamiya TT01"
You have probably already seen this, but I have now decided to go ahead with this even though school will be in (weekend project maybe). My goal is to make a scx10/tt01 combination crawler with a honcho body (with the option of a silvia drift shell) Here is what I'm starting with (if I don't sell it before the parts arrive, do have spare chassis): I have just ordered these 1.9 beadlock rims off ebay. Are they any good? : If anyone could see if a tt01 diff would fit the scx10 axle housings, I would appreciate it. All for now, Panikku |

Not much from tamiya will fit anything from axial. There are tamiya crawlers tho and u might find they could be used in conjunction with your tt01. I'd honestly keep it as close the stock configuration as possible. A fully independent suspension truck can drive quite well if u lock the diffs and work in some gear reduction. That's where I'd aim anyway. |

| Re: Panikku's Honcho build "Tamiya TT01" Those wheels are complete garbage. I bought some a few weeks ago since I needed cheap wheels and figured they can't be that bad. I was wrong, they are much worse than I could imagine. The plastic is super brittle and installing the screws will crack the rim at every hole. The rings are so soft that the force of the tire bead pressing against them will bend them so they don't hold worth a damn. It is basically money down the drain.

Did u try putting decent tires in the beadlock?? I noticed the recess wasnt quite big enough and wouldnt seat fully which would absolutely bend and crack the rims | |

Have run everything. Pit Bulls. Treps. Mtz's tsl's rock lox.. These have really been my goto wheels. Super cheap. And with a set of mthead delrin rings they look awesome! If your running brushless they won't last as long but they still hold up well.

Could someone tell me if the tt01 diffs would fit scx10 housings? Here is pics of both, they look very similar dont they. |
