Default Problem with MIP 13360 shaft

I bought a set of these for my Jeep Rubicon. The shaft to the rear axle works fine, but the one to the front axle just doesn't turn right. It works when hooked up to a motor, but chatters and makes the front end jerk a little.

When turning the axles by hand, it locks the front axle up when going forward.

My stock axial drive shafts work perfectly smooth.

Anyone else have this issue?

Am I just being too picky? I mean, they do work, just not smoothly like the MIPs on my Wraith and Gelande 2.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had mine do simular stuff I put some dry silicone spray in the joint an I helped also if you clock the shafts it can reduce the harmonics and some of the vibrations. There are several utube videos on how to.

100% positive they aren't out of phase? Mine did it (the rear) when I first put them together. Looking closer showed they were not lined up properly. It"s difficult to tell they are only off a few degrees like 10-15. Lined them up properly and now they are perfect.

I got it working correctly.

Here's what I did:

Checked the phasing. The front drive shaft was off by one spline. I corrected that alignment.

The binding problem was with the drive shaft to the front axle. I installed 2mm spacers in the upper links, which improved the drive shaft angle, and the binding stopped.

I think it's all good now. I will take the truck out for a run today to make sure.

Thanks for the help, guys!
