Default Axial Deadbolt - First Crawler Progress

Hey all!

Picked up my first real RC a few months ago and have been super fired up on the whole thing! I ride mountain bikes most of the time and work in that industry, so it's nice to be able to nerd out and work on something else when you're whooped.

I bought an SCX10 Deadbolt after doing a lil' research and thought I'd post my progress. Truck is driving great and I have a couple of different tire/wheelsets and another body to keep things interesting.

Add-on parts/mods include:

- Proline 1.9 XL Super Swampers with memory foam
- 55t Axial brushless motor (pictured with 27t)
- Link kit from Axial, 13.0" WB with steering links
- 8mm wide Traxxas wheel hexes
- Aluminum knuckles and C-hubs
- Axial Universal CVAs up front
- Savox SW-0231MG "Tall" Waterproof servo
- AMF Racing lift/lower shock adjustment kit
- Battery mounted across the frame up front
- Modified rock sliders
- Bumper lift using janky homemade method
- Removed light bar and installed head and taillights

So far the thing performs great out on the trail and on the small backyard course in the video. The shock mounts give you a bunch of different set ups to play with to keep things interesting.

I am working on more of a scaler set up for it as well using the Proline Cherokee body. Interior is made out of cardboard for now and I have some wheel wells that fit in pretty nicely!

Let me know if anything looks like it's set up funky. I have seen most people's steering links set up differently but mine has been performing well against buddies cars.

All in all thankful for this forum and the rad community around the RC hobby!
