Default Question for mud truck owners

Hey all, searched and had no luck, figured I'd just ask. I'm building up a mud truck, as I have enough spare stuff around to build something different. Have some mud brasher 2.2's on the way, and have a brushless setup for some wheel spinning mud throwing fun. My gut tells me to not add any weight to the wheels for max speed, but never built one of these so just want some other opinions. Thanks!

I think Harley talks about that in his videos.

Who cares what Harley says… use the noggin. Or the gut. Weight being spun around is not good. Weight added to anything means extra work needing to be done. Weight is anti float ability.

Don't listen to me either.

^^I agree with not adding extra weight. go against the grain and do some tall skinny mud tires and make it really perform

I used to mud drag quads for several years and to be fast in the pits you wanted skinny light tires with good lugs. If you don't care about fast and are playing in deep mud then wide tires is the way to go.
