| SSD Axle + Panhard on G6 - issues?
Installed the SSD Panhard and CMS along with SSD Chubs and Knuckles tonight on my G6. I used the supplied front lower link and I feel like it's clocking the axle too far forward . Is this right, feel like it shouldn't be that far forward Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

No way not as all. You are basically steering into the ground. My pinion is about parallel with the ground.

Yea, I was wondering how the link would have been the right size since the kit was not specific for this wheelbase. I'll make a new link tomorrow. Thx Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Something looks wrong to me too. The upper link in the kit should be right. Your front lower links may be too short? |

I might be wrong but seems you have positive caster angle. You front axle is clocked but you need to counter clock you chubs to get the angle right. Basically your knuckles should be rotating perpendicular to the ground or even a little bit backwards, never forward. Can you post some pictures with full steering lock Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk |

Here are some more pics with longer front links. Now the drag link hits the steering link |

The pinion is pointing slightly to the ground now.

The opinion angle looks about right, just not sure why drag link is hiring steering now. I also reversed the clocking on the caster with the chubs since I think I had it wrong

The front drive shaft angle is too steep. Change the lengths of the links to bring the pinion back up like it was in the first set of pictures and, get some clocking hubs to get your caster back to where it should be.

Reversed the chubs and put my original links back on. Think I'm good now |

Did you buy the CMS kit? I think the kit is only for scx housing..... With a VP 12.3 wb, i had to use a 90mm vp link for the 3rd link.... |

The SSD CMS kit works with the D60 panhard mount too. Now that you have stock lower links and everything is installed correctly it's fine. SSD lower links are same as stock: 92MM TI LINKS |

One thing to note, I had to use the plastic axle mount for the pan hard. The metal one only has one screw mount which didn't seem to hold it in place

| Re: SSD Axle + Panhard on G6 - issues? Yes the axle panhard mount in the CMS kit is for the stock SCX10 axle. You have to use the plastic D60 axle panhard mount.

Are the lower links the same on the 12.0 and 12.3 wheelbases? I know the G6 is 12.0mm WB. Just curious as I was looking at this kit today.
