Axial Universal 5 Bucket Light Bar Set

Hi,

Does anybody have the above light bar with LED's wired in?

I'd like to see some pictures if possible before I wire up my own LED's.

I am using this on a Dingo body.

Here is how I have mine wired. The second picture is a drawing of how I did the connections. It just shows one wire but you do the connects the same for the second wire. I did put a resistor on each of the LEDs on the negative lead of the LED.

On my first scale truck, the Deadbolt, I took one of those $12-$15 NEEWER LED kits (off Amazon, eBay, etc.) and cut/spliced/soldered 5 of them onto one wire, to plug into the controller. I then coated all the wiring with black liquid electrical tape.

I've got an SCX10 G6 body kit, which I'm planning on doing, coming up soon, and it comes with the same Universal light bar, which means I'll be doing this work again, but this time I plan to use some warm white LED bulbs I got off eBay. Those will probably require resistors, because they weren't part of a light kit.

I am going to see what I can do to hide as much of the wiring as possible.

I will need resistors on my LED's so it will turn out quite bulky.
