| Loose C-hub fix?
besides buying a new axle or clamping c-hubs,what do you guys do when your c-hub screws wont keep the hub tight?

beef tubes? are you talking about where the c-hubs screw to the axle assembly?

yes. i could do beeftubes but would like to fix it with out buying anything. iam all about the free mods.

well, really not much you can do to fix stripped holes at that point....even if you buy a new axle housing, its gonna happen again...guaranteed... unless you want to epoxy the chubs on, but then if they break you are screwed anyway....

Get some jbweld fill in the holes leave a greased screw in let cure for 24 hours.hope it works Buy beef tubes or make your own, install longer screw HANG UP AND DRIVE ! Last edited by mikemcE; 08-29-2016 at 04:04 PM. |

i did the ca glue but it didnt hold for long.i have heavy ssd steel wheel on it and im sure that isnt helping. boom racing c-hubs. its almost like the inner diameter of the c hubs could be a tad bit smaller. im sure its a possibility with cheaper parts.

Drill/tap more screws around the C-Hub. Also, E-6000 glue dries flexible but holds. I've used that before with good luck. Will peel off if you need to remove c-hub. Found at most retail stores.
