Default Locked Up RC Pro CMS setup question

I don't want to just keep drilling holes if I don't have to, and with this being my first crawler, I figured someone may know the answer to the below.

In the instructions it says drill holes 3 and 4 for standard wheelbase (Assuming that would be 12.3") it then says move forward or back for shorter or longer wheelbases but doesn't go into detail.

With a 12" wheelbase would I would assume to use holes towards the front, maybe drill holes 2 and 3. Does this sound correct as a starting point.

Thanks

The front ends for the 12 inch and 12.3 inch wheelbases are the same (the extra length is all from the rear links) so the configuration for the CMS will be the same.
