That's the standard RC pitch, you're good. I get my taps from McMaster Carr, they seem to last longest.

Those are cool! I like the one version with the smaller dimple holes for side mount bumpers. I missed all sorts of things getting a new phone.

The silver ones are Original Bruiser, the black ones are from RC4WD. The black front mounts that I have would not fit the Chino military wrap springs, the mounting hole is in a slightly different place compared to the Tamiya mount.
