Nothing really, the kit is solid overall. If anything, you might want to take a look at the bumpers, since the stock ones are pretty huge. Maybe wheels if you don't like glueing tires to rims.

Spools are the only thing I changed on my build.

As far as durability. Put some longer screws through the front hub clamp then put a nut on the backside, and tighten the crap out if it.

As for preference, beadlock wheels, better tires, and you gotta do something about the bumpers. I also switched to 100mm kings, and couldn't be happier. Of course my wheels are weighted too.

First thing you should do is charge a battery and play with it.

Don't mean to be rude, but there are about 10 threads like this, and all of them give similar answers. Please search a bit more next time.

That being out of the way, this is a tough kit. Wheels are a solid first upgrade, and since it is a kit, I like to do stainless hardware kits. Don't have to deal with rusting hardware, and adds a tiny bit of bling to the kit. The Team KNK kit is pretty good, and gives you some extras of each size. Plus, if you keep your stock hardware you will never have to spend any money on hardware ever again.

I just oreder a kit last week. Should be here next week. I was planning a bunch of stuff up front but decided on holding off and keeping mostly stock at first. I do plan on ordering wheels because I'm not fan of glueing tires. Beef patties for keeping the weight down low. Last is SS hardware and ceramic bearings. I rather save the time and doing it right the first time around. Not looking forward on going back and breaking down my Yeti kit and replacing all the hardware at the moment.
