New SSD Front Bumper for SCX10 II

Do you guys have any plans to come out with a similar front bumper but with a trail bar on it? Would love one like that for my XJ body.

Hmmm ...if that pic is a legit image of the bumper, it's got a decent unnecessary gap along the back and leaves a weird thin body line under the tail lights on the sides that would have to somehow be modified to keep the scale realism. Considering this was made specifically for the XJ body, it'll be interesting to see if that is really it.

Function is what we wanted; but, scale realism is obviously important based on the fact that this is a scaler vehicle.

At this point, we may be jumping the gun on one image; but, I really hope that's not it. Guess we'll see when more pics are released.

That is an image of the prototype but the production unit is the same on top side. It is also the same shape as the stoock bumper on the top side. Our body was not cut correctly...

I feel the same. The first pics are going to come from owners of the product.

The front bumper is just what I was hoping for. The rear bumper looks like it will require trimming of the back quarter panel. Instead of the bumper hanging below the quarter panel, it looks like the quarter panel will hang below the bumper ...as best I can tell from the 2 pics available.

I'm curious to see how much trimming will be necessary. Either angle the quarter panel down to the bottom of the fender or cut a straight line across and through the fender.

Bumper shipped out right after I submitted my order yesterday so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I don't want to speak for him but I'm pretty sure he had the first shipments sent to retailers before he got his to take the product photos.

I'd imagine more will be coming soon.

you are right looks like it will require some trimming (hopefully not)

my bumper shipped yesterday and it says delivery on friday

im going on a mini vacation on friday but hopefully arrives on time for installing and some pics!
