Default Stock ring and pinion wear

Pulled apart my axles to clean and add fresh lube. The front was clean and nice and even wear. The rear not so much, what can I do?

I'm seeing something similar on mine.

The front gear pair pull each other together under forward load, and so have worn ok.
The rear pair push each other apart under forward load, and so the wear pattern is not so good.

When new, there was no room for a shim, but now there is a bit of play in both. Looks like I can get a 0.3mm shim in under the pinion, so I'm going to try that.

The front axle pushes the pinion out and the rear sucks it in.
Thinking we should be able to shim outside the bearing on the pinion shaft and have the driveshaft end keep it from pulling in.

Add a spacer on the pinion, when the reas sucks it, it will stop it going in. On the pinion between the center drive shaft and axle.. worked for me, stopped the sucks and push, you want to get the pinion far from the gear rather than pushing it
