|  Can you purchase the SCX10.2 transmission?
I want to add a 2 speed to an SCX10.1 and read that it's basically a drop in for the SCX10.1 (not sure if this is correct) and if so, can you buy it like the version 1 locked transmission? Does it by any chance take the steel gears from the version 1 locked gearbox? I imagine I could buy every little bit separately but that would cost a lot. Is the SSD 2 speed a good setup? |

Not sure how much of a drop in it would be, the scx10II has a different skid for the(rtr) scx10 trans and kit trans. Also the kit trans had 2 additional support brackets that are not on rtr trans

You would need the kit trans skid plate and I think it would bolt right in. May have to drill some extra holes in the frame for the added mounts. The kit trans uses different gears than the .1 trans. But they are all metal gears  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

SSD, can you please make a machined aluminium transmission case for the SCX10-ii? Ideally it would be best if sold separately from the transfer case, motor plate and spur gear cover.

I'd suggest using the RC4WD AX2 2 speed transmission. I believe It's got a wider spread between the low range and high range Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk |

Just thought I'll let everyone know that I picked up the SSD wraith/SCX10 tranny. It's on the slow boat ATM but I'll report back. Looks fantastic and I basically have everything to set it up already. It was extremely affordable for a near complete aluminium cased, metal geared 2 speed! |
