| 10.2 hilux build
Not that I haven't got enough going on I've had these parts lying about for ages now, slowly collecting bargains and I think I've got just about everything now. Donor chassis is an SCX 10.2 and I've broken the back of the rear cage. Body is a tamiya Toyota hilux, that for now I've put a blank back in it, I've already got a dovetailed yota build so I'm keeping it pretty basic All primed up and ready for rust Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tempted to leave this as a rust bucket but feel it needs the salt and colour treatment too..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great! How are you getting that rust effect? It looks really good! If you are soliciting opinions, I'd add some color as you suggested. I'd also be interested to know how you do the salt effect. I've seen it done, but I've never tried it. |

Well that escalated quickly! I checked this thread a few days ago, and when you said you "Not that I haven't got enough going on" I figured it'd be a while before we saw anything. But here it is! That paint is crazy! And the truck looks awesome! |

Haha, yeah, I hadn't planned on it going so quick but you know how it is, all the parts are there waiting and as soon as you get stuck in it just flew together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |
