| Steering Linkage Shock
A 100mm shock to replace your steering linkage, I did this setup on my old RC4WD Stomper and It worked out good. It protected the servo, Worked the same as a servo saver more or less and look kind of cool also. I did stiffen up the shock with a small outer spring and gas tubing in side the main body of the shock. The shock was a little big for the setup but a more scale RC4WD 100mm shock would look better. Thinking about doing this setup on my SCX10 II |

Or you could just use one of these. These are purpose built. RC4WD Superlift Adjustable Steering Stabilizer (65mm-90mm) RC4WD Superlift Adjustable Steering Stabilizer (90mm-120mm) Now these don't really act as a servo saver as your idea might, but for trailing and crawling a servo saver is not nearly as useful or necessary. |

A servo saver just basically is just to protect the servo gears under stress. Watch this YouTube video this is the same setup using a shock as a servo saver as in my post. https://youtu.be/0OvomVUhfLE |

I have broke two Savox 1230 cases in mine, granted, it took some gnar hits to do so. I have not had any issues since I relocated the servo to be parallel with the bumper. The shock does look cool though! Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk |
