There is no reason to change the axle, stock axle is pretty fine.Topic title is "brass c hubs" So i wanted barss chubs made by samix with brass knuckles made by SSD?Do they fit or not? Since when having a brass chub is a rotational Another point is that aluminum SSD chubs had problems in stripping axles,so i avoided buyng them. |

I have heard that about the SSD Chubs as well. From personal experience none of my SSD Chubs have spun. I am running 3 different rigs all with SSD Chubs.... I suggested the new housing due to the amazing price and huge weight benefit you gain.. I have no clue about sandwich parts oh.. Sammix.

I have the Samix Brass C-Hubs - and they will fit any AR44 type spline. In fact I have mine installed on a set of Pro44's and they fit great. As far as what knuckles fit them, they should fit any knuckle that is designed to fit a standard AR44 c-hub.

I have the Samix chubs and SSD knuckle weights. I put them together last night. They fit fine. I also got the samix brass link mounts. They needed some modifying to fit the SSD Pro44 tubes. the holes lined up but the flange on the mount needed slight grinding to get them in the recesses on the axle tube. I chose to reduce the flange but I could have also opened up the recess on the tube a bit.

The SSD RC SCX10 II Diamond Pro Rear Axle Case cost $24.99 weighted 97 grams and Samix SCX10 II Brass C-Hub Carrier cost $34.99 weighted 35grams. Apparently SSD worth your every penny |
