Default AX24257 Axial Simple LED Controller

Have you ever used Axial's Simple LED Controller on your SCX10.2? Is it compatible with the truck? Also how do you go about connecting these controllers? Simply connect to the third channel of the receiver?

From the diagram on Axial's site it looks like it just connects to a spare channel of the receiver to pull power. Since there's no signal wire to the receiver, it looks like it is always on, not switched by the extra channel. It should be compatible with any SCX 10.2 body, assuming you have somewhere to put 4 white and 2 red 5mm leds.

I have multiple of them. They have everything you need. However the blinkers and the hazard flashers drive me nuts. So I end up disconnection them.

Don't pay more then $10.00

I have an Axial simple controller in my Yeti. It’s nice because it is plug and play. I have the resistors and leds to make them myself, but have a hell of a time making them as tidy. If you don’t mind paying a few extra bucks, the simple controller is convenient.

I was thinking about placing the 4 white ones on the front bumper and the body whereas the red ones on the rear bumper ;)

Good to know. There looks like some dip switches on the control unit, do those disable the blinking?

Not as far as I have found. They let you change from 100% to half bright.

I end up using brake, reverse, 2 headlights and a rear tail light. Thats about it.
