Oh and how is it so sunny there? its been dumping rain all day up north
With this bumper, and the tucked rear (I think I tucked it).... the approach angles are great!

I'm not going to lie. I thought it was going to do worse, but it ended up doing better than some of my other rigs. Part of it is down to the tires, and part of it comes down to the weight distribution. I had just the right amount of weight distribution in the right places to make some inclined climbs where some of my other trucks would struggle to keep the front planted and tilt backwards. I can fix the issues with the other trucks by adding more weight in the front and moving the battery location if possible, but pretty surprised with how the SCX10.2 did with what was done to it.

Sorry to hear about the weather. It was great today. I did hear of a big storm coming through the west coast soon though.

That turned out VERY nice!!! You've just given me an idea for mine....

Since my Comanche Body and the Cherokee Body has essentially the same front section, I'm going to try to get a Dingo Front Bumper!!! That looks better than nearly every other Aftermarket Bumper out there, IMO.
The Inner Wheelwells are DEFINITELY a winner! It really bugs me to look THROUGH a Truck Body.... Makes it very Toy Like. Your Wheelwells look GOOD!

Oh, and don't underestimate those Stock WB8HD Driveshafts that came with the Kit... They're VERY strong!! I've beaten the CRAP out of mine, in my Wraith with Brushless Power!!!
THEY CAN TAKE IT!

LOL! I've already been sub'ed to you. I know because I recognize the Ascender.

I just never really talk about this truck much. Don't get me wrong... I like it a lot, but I've been just taking my time working on it.

I think I finally started this build last year, because I finally had a week where the wife and kid were out of town, and I had a week to myself.

Good looking truck. All that beautiful scenery and cool crawling area right above more houses than I've ever seen in my life!

Another belated post. I haven't driven this rig in a while, but I actually enjoyed wheeling it at CDM recently. I think I might start doing things to this rig again.

A shot of instagrammer @mikesrch's rig after he took a tumble.

Just recently popped in some Boom Racing overdrive gears into the rig after having done the same for my UMG10 6x6. This rig is fun to watch while driving. It's got that top heavy movement that makes it look realistic. Was fun to wheel this rig again.

Glad to see this rig again. I am still using an Cherokee body as I drove one for a long time irl. have watched most of your build videos on YouTube, and I appreciate everyone’s (including yours) inadvertent help on this site.

Decided to take the good ol' SCX10II Cherokee out on a trail run again. It's been a while since I ran this rig here. Maybe over a year even. This rig has aged well. I still really enjoy driving it. It amazes me what it does sometimes given that it has a bunch of weight on top, and I'm still using leaky Axial Icon II shocks for that realistic sway movement.

Took the Cherokee SCX10 II out again for a morning crawl with my son. Was a nice relaxing morning, and it's always fun to drive this rig. It does so well even with all the scale stuff up top.
