I'm seeing the kit price listed as "on sale" for $309 from $349. I can't remember the kit price from before to know if it is a sale. I went vaterra ascender for the first rig, but I liked the axial too. Damn you spectrum and your multiple cars on one radio...

Are the one piece axles considered better? I saw the honcho and I thought they were not as nice. Seems like replacing the ends is an advantage. Am I missing something?

I'd MUCH prefer the original AR44 axles over the one-piece type. Yuck....

However, if you really want to get one of the Axial releases that happens to come with the one-piece type, SSD makes sweet replacements for $25.

I still think the 2017 red jeep RTR is hard to beat on price vs features included.

I really hope they do a scx10.2 "bomber-type" kit.
The bomber kit is full of really nice upgrades and a much better value than the RTR.

The JK Rtr that just came out doesn't use them.

The cheap RTRs use dogbones, 1 piece axles, 1 piece potmetal locker/gear, and plastic links.

The more expensive rtrs have universals, better gears, metal links, etc.

If your going to stay stock, the one piece axles are better(imo), otherwise it doesn't make a difference.
