Default Wrong Heavy-duty rod end

Did get my kit and started the build.
But when i come to the Links i get problems.
Front Stearing have 4 bendt rod ends.
Front upper Link have 2 straight.
Front Lower Inks have 4 straight.
Rear Upper link have 4 bendt
But then for Rear Lower Links i end up With 1 bendt (same as Front) and 3 straight.

Did i miss something and made something wrong+
Or did i get wrong parts?

What ends did you use for the panhard link. The skinny link with the Z bend in it? Did you use a curved end there that should be used for the rear?

The skinny link uses a 3mm and the rest is 4mm.
So there is not much of an option.

Ahh yea duh that rod is thinner....

I would call HH. From what you are saying and what is in the manual as well as the kit I just built it sounds like you may have received a parts bag that was not filled with the correct set of link ends. Sorry about that, I know it sucks.

Welcome to the site!

As far as I remember, the links are correct in the manual so if you don't have the correct pieces call or email Horizon. They will take care of you ASAP.

I am sorry to hear that. I don't know if that e-mail is directed to offices that are in your, or close to your country, or if they all go to the US.

When you go onto the HH site they have the pop up with a nice picture of somebody asking if you would like assistance with anything. I have never initiated a chat with them this way but I wonder if you did and told them your issue if they could get things moving forward more quickly. Just over a week with zero reply is too long.

X2, they have a chat assistance window that pops up while on Horizon Hobbies site, or call them but I'd do the chat, probably faster too.

Edit: Kosh post a picture of the rods you've got built and the parts left over, maybe we can help too.

I have them all installed in the RC, but i went to 2 hobbystores and they all said the same. There was 1 wrong part.

But i did find out With the help of 1 store i was in that a rod end from the Yeti had 4mm threads.
And i had some extra in the set i have.
So i have a working rig now.

Will change to the right one when the rod end set comes to Norway.
But for now it will work.

[I have no idea on how to add Pictures here]

Good to hear that you had a rod end that would work and that your LHS pointed that out to you.

Did Horizon ever get back to you? I assume they did as you said you will change it when the right one comes in.

Horizon typically has the best service in the business, but they are closed due to the pandemic. People are working from home, but they are still short staffed. Everything will be delayed.
