It looks like you are having a ton of fun building out your 10iii! I love all the detail on these Jeep bodies. Now that the straight axles are unveiled, the odds of me getting a 10iii have gone up. |

Thanks for the tire size! I have some spare Canyon Trails, but I thought they’d be too big for a trailer like this, but they look good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

| Re: dmacs Gladiator All parts of both trailers are available online for free. I made the mesh on the A part of the trailer, and the axle mounts for the Gen 7 axle.

I had ordered a Hobbywing Fusion 1800kv and it should be here this week. I'm looking forward to testing out the FOC as it seems like it works really well in the videos I've seen. I've also been thinking about getting another servo and getting the 2 speed setup. I know that most say it's not worth it, but since switching to an 11 tooth pinion, I'd like to have a little more wheel speed. The crawling is perfect, so I don't really want to play around with different pinions. Though saying all that, I will try out the new brushless setup before tearing the trans apart. I also have an idea running through my head for a different trailer setup, but I've been printing lithopanes like mad (most are 24 hour prints), so I haven't had the chance to start printing off the parts I need. |

Cute pup! He'll make a perfect co-pilot! I too am looking forward to testing out the Fusion 1800kv FOC. Mine just arrived over the past weekend. RCGirl just posted a video on YT of the install of the Fushion in her heavy TRX-4 Defender. It looked really smooth! |

| Re: dmacs Gladiator Can't wait to hear what you think about it. Canada Post is saying mine should be here Friday, so fingers crossed it arrives for the weekend. Oh good, I've been waiting for her to release that vid.

Well, Canada Post is being fantastic as ever, and the tracking hasn't been updated since the 6th, so I highly doubt I'll get it today. |

The first thing I did was plug in the programming card and turn off the throttle matching because it always seemed like a dumb feature. It is pretty smooth and quiet but not amazingly so like people pretend the Axe is. The enormous switch and 3 miles of wire kinda take away from the compact aspect of the whole package. Overall, it is a solid brushless crawler option but I wouldn’t say my life has been changed by the FOC experience.

The throttle matching is something I'm looking forward to trying out. I picture it working like my full sized Rubicon, 1st gear in low range, and it just keeps going without any throttle input needed.

So Canada Post still isn't showing any updates since the 6th, so god knows when I'm actually going to get it. While switching the tires around on the right side, I noticed that the steering servo has a TON of play in it now. I don't have many runs on this rig, and none of them are what I would have considered hard runs. I'm either going to swap in my Savox 1231SG from my Ascender, or just order up a Reefs 777. Maybe I'll turn the stock servo into a servo winch, or hit it with a hammer, lol. |

Damn, that's a bummer about your order! Hopefully it gets there soon and doesn't get lost in all of the Holiday shipping madness! I added the Reefs 555 in my Gladiator from the start. I didn't even give the stock servo a chance since most of the RTR servos that I have ran in the past did last very long. My plan is to turn the stock servo into a servo winch in the future. |

Well all of a sudden my package is showing as being at my local post office. That means tear down plans for tomorrow night. Might tear the axles apart too and check to make sure the portals were put together right, and maybe clean the grease out and put some marine grease in, that is if I can find mine, lol.
