Last night I bound my TX to my SR415 receiver, which was not fun. No matter how much I tried, my DX5C would say bind failed. Got out the multi meter, checked to make sure there was voltage going to the receiver, checked the continuity of the receiver, kept scratching my head, then decided to check the continuity of the bind plug, and nothing. Yep, a dead bind plug. Found another one I had, and boom, everything worked perfectly! So far all I can say is that it is damn near silent. So tonight I'm going to swap the motors over and give it a run around the apartment. |

Thank you! So I got the new motor installed, and all I can say is wow! The slow speed control, and the FOC are amazing!! I did have to trim where the front engine accessories went, so I can’t reinstall that, but that’s ok. Sorry I didn’t take pics of the install, I was too excited to try it out. I still have to do some cable management, so I’ll take a few pics then. The drag brake on this is also ridiculous. I really can’t wait to take the truck out and give it a good run. Better looking Gladiator than any 1:1 I've seen. Nice job.

Nice to hear you like the motor! I was hoping it was as good as people are saying! Looks like it just fits in there with the engine cover on. I can't wait to get mine installed and try it out! |

Hi Derek, I love your gladiator. I have one too. I have done many of the same mods. I was wondering where you got the spare tire carrier and how much it cost. I have the bed mount from club 5 racing, but I really like the swing out carrier that you have. Thanks, Andy |
