Default RC BEE"S HoneyWagon Axial SCX10 iii JLU Wrangler Build

Bought this RTR Used from a local guy and I really should have bought the build kit but my mistake is now a work in progression toward a Capable Functional SCX10 Version 3 Rig.

Went ahead and changed the servo to a Reefs Raw 500 and a Holmes Hobbies BR-XL ESC and Tourquemaster pro 540 motor and Samix Shock mounts and some samix and hot racing brass and lastly Flysky GT-5 radio and all these made massive difference here are the pics of some of the changes.... BUZZZZZ......

AXLES are mounted! I had a couple parts ready and like any build had to change up some stuff but I ended up using:

Treal Axles front and rear

Hot Racing brass knuckles and Treal brass portal covers rear

Team Garage Hack overdrive gears front and stock gears rear.

KYX axle shafts Front/Rear

BUZZZZZ......

Now to the Links and Shocks......

Its not cheap but have to admit its priceless on a custom build and I just ordered side tabs from NWSD to hold rc bodies which is really cool!!!

I have been watching your builds and have decided pretty much all that is left is the frame rails when you are done haha. Might as well finish the job and add a low-cg flat rail frame or something made out of carbon fiber or an equally exotic material

So many ideas so little time and I have been lucky on this build almost everything has fit minus 2 or 3 parts.... LOL. BUZZZZ.....

and I was able to send back and get refunds for everything else because im am such a stickler if a part does not work or fit or can be used on a later build I make it a point to get my money back 100% of the time either return refund or sell on Ebay

BUZZZ.... BUZZZ.... Crawlers Im finally getting close to taking this Rig out to test everything got the axles mounted and the shocks and Boom Racing Round shock Mounts and using for the moment my TRX4 HoT Racing shocks with are still doing greta after 6 months of abuse but after I test it I will change those or overhaul them as they work great!

Now after posting a thread for help with the front alignment problem I got some weak responses and had to figure it out and I did, it was the stock panhard bar was too short for the Treal axles and after working on a stainless InTheWorksRC Sherpa panhard bar I was able to bend it to where its almost perfect and we will see how it does on the rocks and then if need bee I will torch it and bend it some more but it looks good and seems to give good clearance so fingers crossed!!!

Here are some pics of the build close to finish and in the next episode I will have installed:
Reefs 777 servo
DSMOFFROAD recovery kit
Club RC Front Skid
TOP Body mounts on the Hot Racing Shock Tower Braces as opposed to the body mounts on the front and rear bumpers.

BUZZZZZZZ....... ALOHA........

Nice build so far. I am not sure putting a longer steering bar will help with more steering on one side. Was the servo horn centered before you put the servo horn on? Also not sure what radio you are using but maybe take a look at the end point settings. If you still don't have enough travel with everything centered to start with, you may need a longer servo horn or a servo with more travel. If you do put a longer servo horn on then you will lose some of the torque from the length of the arm but usually it will be minimal. Also make sure your c-hubs don't interfere with your steering knuckles. I know the plastic ones need trimming to get more steering because the steering knuckles hit the c-hubs. Not sure the metal ones. Hope this helps, good luck.
