thats TTC width or even better FOFF width

Any chance of seeing a pic of the molding machine that makes these axles? I have an idea on how it should work, but I'd love to see the actual machine.

The machine is nothing, likely a 20 to 40 ton injection molder. It's the die & slides you want to see.

Are the stock XR10 C-hubs and knuckles that durable?
I'd like to add some Wraith axles to a 2.2 rig with 4WS and I don't think I can afford VPs for both axles right now

If the chubs and knuckles are the same as the XR, can you imagine all the color combos you'll see on these rigs?

I'm going to (impatiently) wait for the kit version to come out. I made the mistake of showing my son the video of this thing. I have a feeling everything else will take a back seat to this one.

Can't wait until they are released! Hats of to Axial for progressing the scale side of crawling! I believe this will bring many newcomers into crawling/bashing

I agree, that's the only thing that I don't like about these things, it's the width. It would be cool to see Axial release a narrowed version of these axles, then they could include them in the next production batch of Dingo's and Honcho's, could spur some extra sales. (hint, hint. )

When they measure "hex to hex" what portion of the hex are they measuring to? From what I measure the Wraith axles should be 45-48mm wider if the 243mm advertised width is measured to the flat face of the hex...not the little nub that extends into the wheels. That would mean that the Wraith axles are almost 2 inches wider...

Does anyone have any pictures with a ruler held to the axles?

I tell you what...buy the rtr, use the axles if they measure right. Once they startselling axle kits. Order a set of axles for it and sell it. I bet the rebuilt one would sell easily. If not guess you gotta keep it.....OH DARN!!!

Axial I also read they are one piece. Not two halves sandwiched to gether. Is this right?

The main diff housing and axle housings are 1 piece. Not like the AX-10's 2 pieces style (front/back) halves.

The diff cover and chubs/straight axle would add the count.

I'm just trying to figure out the cost of what I have to buy other than what I have in my built ax10 axles now.
Assuming all the bearing interchange?
So have-
Lockers ax locker fit Wraith shafts?
Ring & Pinion carriers
Bearings

Need-
Ocp housing (2). Do they come with 4 link brackets?
Front shafts
Rear straight shafts
Truss (2)
Xr c hubs
Xr knuckles
Rear straight axle Lockouts
???
Sounds like the initial cost will b around $100 for stock stuff but ill wait till all the alum goodies come out and upgrade as I can later.
