yup! its not a mesh issue either as its probaly even set a bit tight. and I got new STRC alum. links for the front and I have a spare link for the rear.... well see how it goes!

and I love the MIP shafts... they are on 3 out of 4 crawling rigs. my LCC is the only rig that hasn't needed them.

I have some Revo black steel linkage rods look like exact eye to eye length....I have a couple pair sitting around, but I threw away the header card with the Traxxas part number. Get the weight down low where it should be, cheap, slides better than aluminum over the rocks and should last a long time.

EDIT: The Traxxas links I'm using for lowers are part number 5318.

damn HH 20t motor was just too much and accualy colapsed the drive shafts then twisted of the rear off and pulled out the front after it had colapsed! and it was only on 2s! guess I am going to fill the spare shafts with some epoxy or something to keep them from doing the same
Stuff them with some 0.25" CF tubing and it will help a lot. May not be enough depending on your power.

X2 was wondering that myself. Also, how are the HD drive shafts holding up to the power?

the brushless is fine in the snow, havent had any trouble with it in the past 2 snows. i had it pack to where it was a solid block of snow and not a bit of trouble with it!

and the MIP drive shafts are great! I have them on 3 of my rigs and not a problem from any of them!

thats the STRC alum. one! I hit some thing (brick?) and pulled the grub screw out of the rodend.

it also needed to grind some off the link to make it fit properly.

put some paddles on the front and Losi claws on the rear in hopes of better snow traction!

just too short! doesnt help that the claws are 80% bald too!

I like how all your driveshaft failures are each unique. I went straight to MIP's so the Boars could go on my SCX.

I see that you are running the 13.5 Tekin motor. I was eyeing that for my Wraith. Would you recommend it for someone who wants to be able to go creepy crawly slow, but still have some kick on the top end? What are you running it geared at?

it still has pretty good low end for a some what faster motor. currently its geared at 23/80t (48p) and that has awesome top end on 3s and I have ran it as low as 18/80t and it felt good on the rocks as far as the low end control but it could use a tad more gear on the rocks (something like 17-18/87) and it'd be great. its an awesome all around combo as is now for me.... but its more of a rock racer as is. I highly suggest it!

Thats the first stripped Savox I've seen. Funny how it's the big gear instead of the smaller ones coming off of the motor.

How many hours of use did you get out of it before you broke it?
