Default **The Chaotic Wraith**

I have had my wraith for quite a while now.
I've only had it out once so far, but will definitely be getting out more in the coming weeks!

Specs are:
Integy 35t v11
Cc bec
Hitec 7954 servo
Thunder power 65c 3s lipo
CAC ez locks
Proline tsl's
Freq e skinz are being created as we speak
Axial scx10 aluminum shocks with soft springs

Chaotic Crawlers Titanium steering tie rod and draglink!
Chaotic Crawlers Titanium upper and lower links!!!

The links really changed the appearance of this rig!
I think they look spot on when it comes to scale appearance!

The shocks really helped the look of this rig as well!
They lowered the ride height to were I wanted to be and they look a lot more scale than the stock shocks!

This rig will be more for crawling than bashing, but it will definately see some drunk driving at our night comps!!!

Onto the pics...

Your Wraith looks good. I love CAC wheels. I wish he still made them.

Looks awesome... I ordered those same wheels. Can you tell me why a lower ride height is preferred? I would assume that higher ride height would help with clearing objects wouldn't it?

A lower center of gravity is preferred over huge amounts of lift. Clearance shouldn't be an issue once the shorter shocks are in place.

The truck is more stable when it's lower, plus it's not a comp rig, so you don't need to make it a break over machine!(not that it would do it anyway)

I have found that my driving style with this rig is more horsepower based than anything!!!
It's a point and shoot rig!!!

Cool i ordered the same shocks you have tonight... probably going to order your links tonight after work.... do you recommend with the revo ends or without? I mean its only 10 different so i might as well right?

I found out tonight after my first outting that the power of the stock motor was good, but there were times where i was blasting down a straight gravel road and I wish I had more top speed. So im going to upgrade the motor soon I think.

It's really up to you on the rod ends.

We put that as an option for convenience to the customer.
Some people might already have rod ends, so there is no reason for them to have to pay for another set.

The stock motor is pretty weak!
I didn't even drive it stock! I immediately swapped it out for something better that I had laying around.
I didn't have any extra money at the time, so the v11 motor was just something I had laying around.

love the look of your wraith. I was wondering if those wheels will work with aftermarket knuckles.

That is one nice ride there! Do you have any videos of it? Or with the lid off?

I have a video of me rallying up a slate shale covered hill.
I'll try to get it posted tonight.

I'll get more pics soon.
I received my skinz proofs today. Now I need to decide which one I like the most.

No updates to post.
I've been preoccupied by my comp rig, our new bodiless chassis, and getting ti links back in stock!

I am still waiting to hear back from freq e skinz again.

He sent me some proofs, but I wasn't in love with the colors, so I sent him back to the drawing board just over a week ago.

I also don't have an rx for this rig at the moment because I switched to a 4pks recently.

I know... I suck!
