Well out with the old and in with the new. My chassis has been bought by a customer and now to build a full on chassis. The "Ultimate 9" housings are just to cool to not have an over the top chassis to go with them.
So here goes.

The new chassis will be built from Grade 5 titanium. Super light, über strong, and $$$$.

Maybe I should change the name to home wrecker, as this is gonna get expensive real fast. Spent $100 on 12 feet of titanium so far and nothing has gotten bent. All welding duty is being done by Shawn @ Shooter Fab. Shipping everything to him first of next week.
Inspiration for the build is of course from Texas and just down the road from my moms place. It's one of the nicest rigs I've ever seen and knew I had to have the closest thing to it. Here is the pirate4x4 link.

If a hundred bucks of Ti can pull together a chassis anything like that, I think you'll be ok. CANNOT wait to see the progress.

It will probably take another $100 in material. Then the work begins. Gonna be insane for sure being able to run a full tube chassis that is stronger than anything you can imagine and barely outweighs a stock Wraith.
This is the put up or shut up build. Only top quality parts. No budget type build. Using top vendors products and a team of vendors skills to pull this together. Only @ Rcc is this possible. Been wanting something like this and it's finally becoming a reality, and like the axles and most everything else I make, it will be one of a kind for many reasons.

Man, forget the titan 60s (which are still sick as hell) I want some ultimate 9s!!! Looking awesome as always!!

Need to start saving up for some U9s, Can you PM me an idea on what they run? (if thats ok?)

I have been wanting to build a custom chassis for a while, and these axle might just be the ticket.

Absolutely. I can tell you this much. 12' of rod, all metal Trans with maxx outputs, dash, and shocks, packed in a 41"x 3" heavy wall cardboard tube with packing is only 2lbs 9oz. Guessing sprung weight on this thing will be under or right at 5 pounds wet.

Now that you mention it. You just cost me more money. Haha
Plan is to eliminate as much plastic as possible. Use only titanium and aluminum for the chassis and panels, including interior. Thinking now that a titanium skid is in order also.

Shawn's gonna kill me if I keep adding to an already tuff build.

Heaviest part of this rig will be the axles which is right where the weight needs to be.
