I was gonna get started on the rear interior but seeing the servo was bugging me so I had to address that before I could move on. I think I got pretty close to the 1:1 on this part and they both rock Griffins. Inner fenders will cover the rest.

Got some more work done today.
Built the rest of the interior for the rear, just waiting on seat, built the fuel cell, and made me a small ice chest.

Trying to keep everyone happy on those long rides. Had Norm whip up a rear bench seat for the kiddos

Appreciate all the positive remarks.

Got some more done tonight.
Installed the titanium shafts in the rear.

Ready to replace the HC with VP

Got the side panels fitted and through the rest on to see how it looks.

Still have to drill and tap 2 more spots to hold the lexan piece down and get the hood area modded. I'm also flirting with the idea of engine turning a portion of the sides and using the tint to add some design to them. Probably do a bigger test panel to better get an idea.

I also added some much needed detail to the diff cover while it was off(still need to do the front).

Thanks and will do.
I think build threads should be just that. I intend to share as much as possible, as long as it's not some little trick that separates my method from others when it comes to production.
Any who, I made a mockup engine cage with some styrene so I could get the hood cut.

Gonna be a busy weekend with customers 1:1 build, customer panel orders, setting up my new shop for CFM R/C division, and working on this. That just made me tired.

Got something really nice in the mail yesterday and was very happy when I opened the package. Any of you guys that travel or just don't want to dirty up your car after play time owes it to yourself to pick one of these up. It's the Wraith Carrier bag from Scott Anthony Designs. Looks to be very well made with heavy duty zippers and a handle on top.

Here is a link to the vendor thread

EXO engine is gonna be just right for this. Right style and will give the look and also cover the battery and electronics box.

And the rear Titan 60 is going under the knife for some more scale goodness. Will involve some welding and of course machining.

That EXO engine looks pretty good.
Can't wait to see what you have in store for the Titan.

Man, it would be cool if you made it to NWSC with Southern Comfort. Hope it works out.

Yeah the engine is really the only viable option when all the electronics and battery have to be mounted up there.
I hope I can make it out too!!

Here was the reference pic that got my mind turning. It of course is on another W.O.D. rig which is keeping with the theme off this truck.

Here is the updated Titan60. Still need to clean up and mount the ram and start working on the tie rods.

Also worked on the engine cage tonight. Didn't have any of my reference pics with me so I went from memory. Cage unbolted for access. Looks like the battery will stay put unless it needs replaced, I'll just pull the hood to charge. Just not a quick way to make battery changes worth the trouble

Also need to clean the hood up now that it's clearanced. That was a tedious process.

Finished machine work on the ram, painted housing, got my VP knuckles on, and bolted everything up with scale hardware. Just lack tie rods.
Enjoy!!

Rear axle is done, again. Got the tie rods built and everything adjusted and buttoned up.
