not exactly. and from the builds ive seen so far, it can be capable at higher than stock speeds but IMO you start losing low end torque at a certain point. only so many gearing options exist, so getting more capable crawler and basher is still something desired

Ah I see what you mean. I think with ditching the stock interior it could be made to work. Justin |

There is no reason to do it. Pick up a Tekin 17.5 system, shoot 4s at it with boost timed in and you won't want it any faster and it'll still crawl good too. That combo will rip the tires right of the wheels if you let it.

| thats all well and good and all but maybe thinking outside the box and keeping my current 2s esc and 21.5t brushless might be a priority seeing as how theyre not even 2 weeks old.

yes it would be nice to have the choice to go from super slow crawling speed to fast fast speed !! and this is something that has been talk about over and over, I am sure some of the vendor well find the way to do a nice two speed tranny just sayn!!!

Problem with the summit trans Is the size and weight are simply massive, plus your looking at another $100 plus a shift servo. |

| Well I've ran a boosted 21.5 on 4s as well. Plenty of speed to get into trouble. So, reenginneer the wheel, lose the interior, spend $100+ on trans and shift servo or buy a Mamba Max pro for $125.?

I just hate the huge amount of slop in those transmissions. Let alone they are the size of an orange. I would just get an appropriate motor, ESC and battery.

Rc4wd has there 2 and 3 speed trans that are smaller and alittle bigger then stock. Why don't you just make a plate for one of their trans. The 2 speed can even come with dig. Just food for thought

| Those transmissions have never been big hits. They can't hold much power.

Either way its money. Whether you spend for a decent sensored system, 3-6s packs and beef up the Axial trans. Or keep your somewhat budget electronics and 2s packs to go with a 2speed. I went with the latter, a dinky mount and summit trans. The slop (rotational and lateral) and weight/size are to contend with, but man is it a tough trans. But I was also done with the stock Axial trans when I yanked the trigger and twisted the end off of the tranny output. It definitely is a predicament if you wanna go fast and crawl |

| Two speed tranny would be awsome. On and off drag break from t\x is desired also.
