Can you put a longer servo horn on there? Your servo won't turn as far thus making it harder to get the "whoopsy daisy my horn went way too far bind".

looking good mango. I hope it's running by friday. if not, We can always finish it up in the car on the way to Disney

That's what I was talking about on your YJ but you weren't grasping it.

Josh, I just checked my toolbox, no extra long Hitec servo horns.
Rig is looking awesome! I bet my JK can take it down though!

i thought that was what the epa's were for..so you can adjust your servo throw as to not bind..

that jk aint gotta chance..

You might be thinking of a different bind. The bind that I was talking about is when your servo horn gets pushed over past the point of return, and you have to move it back by hand. It's happened to me a couple times when I ran a short horn with a lot of throw.

A longer horn will give you max turning angle without having to turn your TX steering wheel so far. You will get the same throw with a shorter horn, but you will have higher EPAs where as with a longer horn you can turn your EPAs down with out effecting the max turning angle.

well my diff gears didnt show nor my tranny gears so i stuffed some stock gears in and put the electrics in temporary till i get back from crawlapalooza to start on the interior.

HR steel diff gears went in no problem..
i did notice some binding when i over tightened the bearing caps..

well at crawlapalooza i snuck off to run my buggy...

it hooks up soooo nice...
i was acutally amazed at how well it did without weight in the wheels..
the cut boggers HOOKED UP out there on the rocky soil..
vented the tires on the sidewall 2 holes in front-1 in the rear.

on a climb it ripped out the rear rod ends..
next attempt..
it ripped out the front rod ends..

thats just with a stock can 27t on 3s...

i ordered a HH 23t..
i think im gonna need bigger rod ends..

i got some good video of it ...
and shane did too..

when it was in focus..
