On the right rear I run a losi 2.5" green spring and a road car short stiff with the spacer from the spare parts bag. If your suspension is softer than stock I'd try the silver and if it's real soft try the orange.

You could always switch the diff gears back...

That polished truss IS purdy!

The overdrive gears kill the torque twist quite a bit. The axle cases are rc4wd, the trusses and link mounts are strc.

And 3s Eric.

The overdrive gears kill torque twist? I expected them to make it worse... the 43/13 gears say "reduces torque twist" on the pack fwiw.

If you put them in the wrong axle, then it will make it worse.

I'm afraid I don't understand your post, I was talking about the diffs being installed as per the manual, which increases torque twist due to the rotational coupling with the transmission. So what way are you saying is the "wrong axle"?

Axial packaging says the underdrive gears lower torque twist, which I have and they do marginally reduce torque twist and my diffs are installed as per the manual, not because I think it matters, but because I have a sweet ARB diff cover that requires the diffs flopped for the logo to be right...
Technically the overdrive gears should make it marginally worse, however he said it "killed it", so we have contradicting information. For the average guy reading the thread he's not gonna know what to buy.

Does the overdrive gear package say that it reduces twist? I could see a marketing guy putting it on both packs...

What I meant by "put them in the wrong axle" is if you install the gears in the front that should go in the back and vice versa.

Both the Overdrive and Underdrive gears accomplish the same thing when used with a second set of stock gears (or when used together). I run both (overdrive and underdrive) and notice minimal torque twist even with a soft suspension and a fast motor.

sweet looking rig. I wanted to meddle with the 4ws as well. How did yours work out? Any improvement over running 4ws?

Absolutely! Its not for everyone as it take a bit of time to get used to it. But I had been comping supers for a while before and it was a big performance gain right of the bat for me on the wraith.
