| The Violators Wraith build, now with counter rotating drivelines
Just like everyone else, I jumped on this bandwagon. The stuff. Wraith kit. HR steel lockers RC4WD Dick Cepek Wheels ( Thanks Krawlfreak) Hitec 7950 (Again Thanks Krawlfreak) Tekin Pro4 3300 ( Guess where I got it, Krawl just has to much stuff laying around) Mamba Max Pro ( It did come from Krawl, but I did pay for it, mostly anyway) CC BEC ( I think I paid for this on my own) Futaba 4pl (Thanks TEDROCKZ) Robinson Tranny gears ( I don't even think he knows I took these, but he will now) LED light kit( can anyone guess where it came from) Coming soon VP front and rear knuckles, chubs, and knuckle weights (I wish krawl had this stuff laying around so I could finish my wraith) and a Novak 6.5t 550 motor and MIP cvd's ( if I can keep my foot out of my mouth I shoud have them soon that way Krawl can put one of his scalers together with his pro4) On to pics First up I was told the stock spur would not hold up. A little mix and match and a Traxxas 58t spur. That one should be easy to find damn near anywhere if it strips. Mostly wired. Interior to come very soon. I made a front battery box to hold a 2s 5000 lipo. With this motor and spur (58 spur, 14 pinion) this thing is way faster than I need. 3s lipo's should be here early next week just for fun. I also used a spare xr-10 body mount to hold down the hood. Almost done. This thing is fun. I am scheduled to sell a kidney next week then i will be able to afford the VP stuff. Maybe. Then I will add rear steer and it should be done. Manditory flex shot. The only issue I have is the RC4WD wheel do not want to hold the bead very well. Not well at all. Kicked out 2 tires in about 2 minutes. On 3s they probably will not make it that long. I will seat them again and try to tighten them a little more. | I kept seeing all of these awesome builds full of super blingy VP stuff and I couldn't figure out how the heck all these rich people could afford these parts. Now I understand. Need VP parts? Sell an organ. I guess that is why they have parts with names like incision, and hurtz. That is what you have to do in order to afford them. I'll pass on the VP super bling. Sweet build |

I was excited to look at "our" Wraith this morning. but that excitement quickly faded when about 45 seconds into the drive on flat ground this happened. I am going to have to call it a defect. there is just not way it should have broken like that. i happened to have a spare set of wraith cvd's for another project so its repaired for the moment. to bad it cost me $40 to drive this thing about a minute. |

| I sent a PM to the "AXIAL" person on this board, but will look at your website tonight. On a side note after JEREMY BROKE MY (OUR) Wraith it spent the rest of the day at the Krawl lab. It now sports some prototype BM-GF approved light bar. I flattened out the upper cage so it could sit closer to the top, but I am happy with it. It puts out lots of light, and runs directly from a 3s lipo. That is my excuse to go to 3s now. I believe this light bar to be the smallest out, and should work great on lots of applications. I am waiting for a triple row light, but that one might need its own 3s 5000 to run it. Hopefully they do not use to much power. Nuff words, on to the pics. Sorry I took them with my phone. My phone does not do this one justice ( and do not pay attention to the satanic dog with no eye reflection, I am not sure why but this dogs eyes so not reflect like most), they are bright. This pic was with a dead 3s lipo (9 volts) |

| From the bearing back towards the drive pin. Slash 4x4 slipper clutch. Robinson makes one that would be bullet proof, but its $35+ and I had a spare laying around. I was buying the slash slippers on Ebay for $10 or so. There are other options, but I thought this one would make it really easy to find replacement parts. Robinson slipper if you have stacks of money. |
