I'm trying to pop the little silver swival ball thing into the link end with no luck yet. Any tips on getting these things in they seem pretty snug. I'm using the ones that came with the links and I've got the ends on the links already just can't seem to get the balls in. |

Use a set of needle nose pliers. Place the ball on the end and then grab both sides with the pliers (pliers parallel to the rod end), then clamp down, twist and push it in there.

I had a custom machined aluminum block made that was a perfect fit for the rod end. Then use our 25 ton press at work with custom adapters to press it in.
