br xl or sv2?

Hi there,
I was trying to order the Holmes brxl with a torque master but the ESC is out of stock. But I do like having the option to switch to brushless if I want with the Castle SV2. So what will I be missing out on if I go with a Castle vs Holmes Esc? Or what is a great Esc for my Wraith that takes both brushed and brushless? Will I loose much low speed control with diff esc's?

The BRXL is a touch better with low speed control and is a better choice if you want to have a specific brushed ESC, I love my BRXL, but the SV2 is also a good ESC, I have the older Sidewinder and they work well (I don't think there is much of a difference in them). If you want to save some $ and also use brushless if you want go with the SV2, but if you want the best brushed performance go with the BRXL, both are the same size so there is no issues there and fit in the stock ESC cradle if you are using that.

BRXL can also be waterproofed.

I burned up three SV2's before finally getting the waterproofed BRXL.

Wish I'd saved my money and gotten the good one first.

The Castle MM Pro is also really good and will run both brushed and brushless with up to 6s lipo.
