Why do you do anything with your scalers?

If it was 3/8" that's equal to ten percent!
That's pretty friggin huge.
Axle stays put so no harm done to the approach angle.

Personally I like the look better, but doubt it will be felt.

For performance and to make them more realistic i.e. the term scale. You gained nothing in either category from what I can tell.

Wrong, look again. The bumper is part of the chassis and by moving the chassis forward he moved the bumper forward thus decreasing his approach angle.

I didn't do it for any gain in performance. The front tires still protrude out beyond the bumper, so approach angle won't be hurt. I did it for looks and looks alone, and the fact that I enjoy messing with it and see what I can come up with.

And to answer Mr negative (scalefreak93), because I felt like it. Why the need to pick everything apart in everyone's threads?

Because he was trying something different. Worse approach angle are you serious??? Have you seen a Wraith in person...think it's like 90' approach angle stock...lol.

Steering links? That's an R2J setup.

I'm not trying to pick, just curious as to if there was any particular reasoning behind it. And when have I picked EVERYTHING apart in EVERYONES threads? Just curious because I missed it. And there is no need to point out my negativity

Yes, there are situations where even though the tires are in front of a bumper the bumper will still get used, think crevices..... And yes I own a wraith and ditched the stock chassis very quickly, now it's a southern buggy

Yep, Mayhems. They're actually the Berg offset wheels. They clear the steering fine and keep the wraith a little narrower. I don't like the big offset wheels that make it really wide. It makes it harder in a lot of places when crawling.
