| Wraith interior pics?
Trying to decide what color to paint the interior/dash for the wraith... I guess its pretty much between black and silver.. I was looking through the picture archive for insparation but its all mostly pics of the truck itself.. any one care to post some pics and help me decide? I'm doing the kit so it will have black seats!

Here's mine. Just black paint and stickers: Ok, so the stickers are special, just a minor technicality |

I have the black kit seats on an interior shot in a charcoal black. Its almost black, but ads a nice bit of contrast. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2 Last edited by J.DUKE; 04-13-2012 at 11:09 PM. |

Well, I decided to go with silver with a black dash. It was my first time using an airbrush and it actually came out a little tope-ish. Not really metallic shiny silver as I was expecting. I guess it will have to do! On a side note 2 of the 4 cv joints for the center driveshafts are binding quite a bit! They're really not smooth at all... Has anyone had this problem before and what should I do about it? |

Personnaly I like to use the body color for the dash, and spray on plasti dip for the floor, it looks like rhino lining and has a rubber feel. Sorry but I don't have pics right now.

First I make a pattern out of thin pressed cardboard, like cereal boxes, crackers, etc. come in. Trace the pattern out on a sheet of aluminum, for mine I used an old license plate. Cut it out and bend it to shape then cover it in colored foam. I cut mine out using lexan body scissors and the craft section in Wal*mart has a big pack of assorted colored foam that's got adhesive already applied to one side of it that I use to cover them with. Here's some I made for my Clod bodied scaler using a Wraith floor pan. | |

Nice. That's a great idea. Been trying to figure out how to make a set. Cause your right the stock seats are so expensive.

Not really expensive, there just really heavy and that's extra weight setting up high where you don't want it.
