Hey how did you get it to fit like that? Nice job!!
Did you heat and straighten the link? I did mine differently but it worked...lol. Yours looks nice and clean....mine is knarly. Oh well I am new to custom world and I like doing things the hard way with lack of tools also...lol.

I know he did and so did I but mine would not just bolt straight in. Hence the hack fest on mine...lol

That's a drop in tray from Dinky RC....takes a little modification depending on what you got back there. My esc is under the homemade fuel cell had to cut a hole in the front to run the wireing....I like it.

I didn't heat the link, the link length is just nice if it is straight to the corner of the cage. Yours is towards the centre of the cage in which i find it difficult to remove the battery.
Thanks for the idea, if not until now i still don't know what to do.

Oh ok but I couldn't get mine to go to the corners! My links were a little too short...weird! My battery is up front and will be a pain to remove because I am doing the Rubi Jeep body by Dynamic Concepts. I am having a very hard time but learning lots with the Rubi Jeep body. I messed up on cutting the hood out. I didn't cut part of the upper grill so lining things up is going to look like turd but that was my error in judgement. I need a spare Jeep for a "do-over". LOL

I am sure it will be good enough to bash and thrash on!!

I am painting the Jeep Tamiya Copper with a black backer paint. Should be cool! Soon!! Maybe........

Yesterday I did mine! I use the plastic links of scx10 Honcho, the lenght should be 136 mm, or if you want to use alloy link you can use the axial ones of 6x106 mm plus the rod ends.
It comes really good!

I think it makes the Wraith look much meaner. I have also cut the interior where the battery wires enter the cab so that the hole is bigger. Makes putting the battery in a whole lot easier.
