Well finally have got enough parts to start a thread. As most who have read any of my other build threads, they tend to take quite a while. So I hope I won't bore you all. It would go faster if I had a Sponsor LOL. Front axle Front axle Front axle Rear axle Last edited by DRV KRAWLER; 05-07-2012 at 11:24 AM. Reason: Puncuation |

I am or I was on the list for the tangs. I have never had any problems with the two sets of lockers that I have. I have seen the "Wobble" people have but neither of my sets have had any "wobble" issues. I would think the aluminum ones I have in my FOFF build would show it for sure LOL. | Re: "PHANTASMAGORIA" by DRV KRAWLER Ordered a few more items today. I know most are against buying fro ckrc. I did order the front battery plate kit they have. I also received the VP front servo chassis mount today. I did receive some scale items I had been waiting on also from Team3six. NOS bottles and man they are SWEET ! |

looks good man! are you gonna clock the front c's back a little? it looks like it might be set up for a little bit of negative caster as it is since you've clocked the pinion angle up. it's an easy mod to do as well.

Aren't your axles positioned wrong? The pumpkin should be on the right side when looking at it from the front....

$HI% your right, I did not see it. Thank you for pointing that out. I don't think it would matter for performance. But, I will rectify that issue by my next updated pictures. Thank you ! Last edited by DRV KRAWLER; 05-08-2012 at 07:30 PM. Reason: edit

Receieved a few items, first was the Vanquish Servo chassis mount and also CKRC battery forward plate arrived. I was only able to install the Servo mount last night. I am expecting my Dinky R/C "Drop Box" to arrive Friday. I will be doing some install work then on the "Battery forward" and the "Drop Box".

Well a couple of updates to share : I installed the CKRC battery forward plate. Idid resolve the axle position and the caster angles needed improvement from previous posts : And the big deal for today on this thread are the CW wheels have arrived : Finished installing the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC 2.2's : Calvin (CrawlingCalvin) always produces a quality / durable and pretty (in my opinion) product at a Great price. These wheels look fantastic. I can't wait to see them installed. I still need knuckles for front and rear before that can be accomplished. So lets here the opinions of others on the wheels : |

Well I have not updated this thread in a while. I have changed directions on this build. I desided to not do 4 wheel steering on it. Here are just a few minor updates : I installed VP Front steering knuckles and R2j Steering set up. Some rear VP Lockouts where also a must have. I purchased some Rogue elements Lug nuts that look very impressive on this build. I do have most of the Transmission ready for this build. I still need to aquire a Blue VP Dig to match the VP Trans housing I have. |
