| Bec install and it won't shut off unless I unhook the battery
Installed a castle bec and a new savox servo just a few minutes ago and I did it that way that Is shown in the wraith beginners guide in the picture. I only have one servo on my wraith. When I hook the battery up the steering servo is constantly on. Then I have to flip the switch under the dash to turn the motor on. Why will the switch not flip off the servo or is this the way it is suppose to be?

That's normal. It's getting power straight from the battery. That's why it powers up when you plug in the battery.

For the most part, most crawlers bypass the on/off switch and just unplug/plug in the battery to power up their rigs. In' short It's normal |

Hooty, you should never leave the battery connected when not in use. The BEC will supply voltage to anything that is connected if there's a power source (battery). I suppose you could eliminate the on/off switch to the ESC, a lot of people do this. Then you'd have that as a reminder to unplug the battery. |

i come from the flying rc world and would never run on switch on any birds. battery is either plugged in or unplugged and the bird is dead. same holds true for my wraith

Sounds good. I thought I did something wrong. I usually take my battery out anyway but I thought that it should shut off with the main switch and when it didn't it kinda played with my mind. Thanks for the fast replies!

Also I'm getting some noise from my servo? Are the savor servos noisy or is this a problem?
