Oh yeah when you build the trans make sure you don't over tighten the screws or it will bind up the drivetrain. Buy some 3mm machined screws and use thread lock when mounting the c-hubs to the axles.

My hobby money was just sitting there begging me lol. Plus I don't feel like carrying it broke through 10 miles of trails, PIA haha. Besides I read Moony's thread no lie about 10 times, inspiration.

Looking good man. Can't wait to see what's next. Yeah I was disappointed in the shocks to. Ended up to Crawler king springs and pistons. It helped a lot.

Hopefully links and drive-shafts tomm. Along with a few scale mods. Thanks I appreciate the comments, I think for the price axial charges for this thing they can add a little more quality to the shocks imo 8th scale buggy shocks maybe

Been working on this thing since 8 o'clock. Waiting on my upgrades to finish :( Here is where I am at...

Custom antenna home made (servo horn and pen spring)
Custom roof rack $2 (doll house fencing)
Tow rope (Shoe string)
Spare beadlock 1.9
17 mm hobao shocks, no springs.

Had to drill the gear cup to get the axle to fit...

Check it check it... Do not even want to run it's so nice lol.

I like that antennae idea. Gonna have to steal that one. Looks good man. Can't wait to see how those shocks work out.

No problem I used a hitec servo horn, m3 screw, servo mount, and a pen spring. Glued the spring to the horn with a nut going through and slid the antenna in and glued it as well. Then mounted it to a flat servo mount and bolted it to a hole in the wraith chassis. The flag is part of a cloth, just cut and glued. Hopefully that is not confusing lols. Shocks are so smooth, but I will get pics and such showing how they work. They have 20 wgt. in them..

Quick test run and pretty sweet. Need to gear down pretty hot, and also the hot racing knuckles rub the rim a bit. Other then that it crawled everything in its path. Real test is tomm, and hopefully will get more pics and feel the truck more on some tough trails. The weight in the front is perfect, keeps chugging, I have not found torque twist yet, but like I said I was on some basic stuff.

Update for the real test. Crawls great with a 1.9 scx10. It was a trade off though, we both were better in certain areas. Tore the screw out of the steering link and the rims grind on the knuckles where the steering link mounts too. Had to cut and dremel them down. The shocks are awesome and the lcg makes this thing sit low. The r35's are sticky and the lugs grab into ledges, I need to add more weight up front and slightly more to the rear. Other then that it works great... Check it out, more pics tomm going back out.

Had to grind these down

Guys I would like you to meet the driver of this rig, Wanda. A very lucky lady in deed, found her all lonely in Dollar General and used the perfect pick up line. She seems happy...
